Case Alpha:
The Truth Behind
Cardin v. Olszewski
EDVA 1:19cv01646

Coming Soon

Both military and civilian failures

related to nearly 20 year violent offender.

This is what the offender, his attorney, and the courts (ahem....the Judges)

don't want the public to know.

Servicemember and

ex-girlfriend

"He's a serial predator."

His Former Commander

“The system is not perfect (and in this case seemingly far from perfect)….”
In reference to the Air Force failing to properly handle Mr. Cardin since his violence was first known in 2008.

"...when I told her that I was concerned for your safety, she said that she was too..."
In reference to personally visiting with then SAF/IG Stayce Harris on Ms. Olszewski's behalf.

Emails from this Commander TBP (with name redacted).

Male Co-Worker

“I’m a victim too.”

Unlike Mr. Cardin, this reputable servicemember was never fired or kicked out of units and is still welcome in the Special Operations community.

Another male servicemember left a unit before Mr. Cardin's arrival (to it) just to get away from him.

Another male servicemember (working with Mr. Cardin) knowing his teacher for a course was Ms. Olszewski, expressed concerns over Mr. Cardin coming to the classroom, shooting her and the other students and said "I'll watch the classroom door from now on." â€‹

Servicemember and

ex-girlfriend

"He's probably stalking you."

This ex-girlfriend reached out to Ms. Olszewski after Ms. Olszewski's Congressional Testimony (TBP) and HuffPo article. She asked if Ms. Olszewski had checked her car for a tracker - the comments based on her experience with him. Other women were also stalked after they ended the relationship.

Multiple Women

Strangulation

Gun Use

Stalking

Harassment

Retaliation

5 known female victims physically assaulted (going back to 2008)

Many others filed complaints at work

Another trapped on a flightline and sexually harassed

Threats of bodily harm (inc. wanting to break victim's neck)

Trapping women in vehicles or in place at home where they can't get away

Taking victim's phone

Jealousy, wild accusations while he's out late at night doing who knows what

Degrading verbal abuse

Financial abuse

The usual from an insecure and violent man.

His own mother said he has a "dark side".

He has a pattern of having a woman move in together (often after she's spent money, moved household goods, pets, kids) and then initiating physical abuse. It's very common for abusers to trap (for example, in a marriage), isolate, and start the physical abuse.

And the lying...well, you can imagine. To police, to Judges - anything to keep up the image.

Servicemember and

ex-girlfriend

“At the start, he was a really nice guy and presented as a good Christian man. But it didn’t take long to realize that he wasn’t anything he said he was...”
